The SP100iZ single-syringe (top right), SP200iZ dual-syringe (bottom right) and SP250iZ (bottom) nanolitre infusion pumps from WPI are inexpensive, yet precise and easy to use. They feature automatic volume control and shutoff, simple menu-driven setup: dispense volume, dispense flow rate, syringe diameter (selected from displayed table), last settings stored in permanent memory, and continuous dispense volume display. Additionally the SP200iZ and SP 250iZ have an RS232 interface for computer linking or "daisy chaining" up to 100 pumps, and a TTL interface for footswitch, timer and relay control.
They are simple to set up and easy to use. LCD's guide you through the setup. First, select the syringe from the table stored in the pump's memory and displayed on the LCD. Next, enter the volume to be dispensed. Finally, enter the flow rate and the press "start". The volume is tracked continuously on the LCD and when the preset volume has been dispensed, the pump shuts off automatically.
