The TEC-420 Amplified Littman Laser System consists of a TEC-500 Littman/Metcalf master laser amplified by at TEC-400 tapered amplifier stage up to 500 to 2500mW. It takes advantage of the beam-walk free wavelength tuning of the Littman/Metcalf design which is required for a stable amplification stage.
