Groundbreaking Inverted Research Microscope Released at Neuroscience 2016
The all-new Eclispe Ti2 Inverted Research Microscope made its debut at the Society for Neurosciences' annual meeting in San Diego in November. This microscope revolutionises how researchers capture data, delivering an unprecedented 25mm field of view that allows for accelerated research, as well as improved stabilty and usability powered by an intelligent microscope operation guide. CCD Cameras for Demonstration

Coherent Scientific Appointed Distributor For Andor Products
We are very pleased to announce that Coherent Scientific and Andor have entered a closer partnership with Coherent Scientific becoming sole distributor for Andor products in Australia and New Zealand.
The agreement, which takes effect 14 April 2016, recognises Coherent Scientific's strengths to supply and support scientific imaging systems and we look forward to working together to bring new and enabling technologies to the research community.
The founders of Andor, working in the Physics department of Queen's University, Belfast, found that the cameras then available were inadequate for their demanding applications, so developed their own. After using them in various imaging and spectroscopic applications they found they were being requested by researchers in otbher departments in Queens's and other universities. Andor was formed in 1989 to take advantage of these requirements.
Andor now manufactures a range of high-performance digital cameras for advanced imaging applications in the life sciences and physical sciences. Camera technologies included CCD, EMCCD and scientific CMOS. Andor's fast innovative pace, is one reason why they are the premier imaging company, with camera technology such as the new large format iXon888 EMCCD and the Zyla and Neo families of scientific CMOS cameras.

Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the Inverted Research Microscope ECLIPSE Ts2R, a compact inverted research microscope configurable with a wide variety of observation methods.

Nikon Corporation is please to announce the release of the new Inverted Routine Microscope ECLIPSE Ts2 which provides more acurate and efficient microscopy.
The ECLIPSE Ts2 is the successor of the ECLIPSE TS100 as a routine inverted microscope with improved functionality, enabling efficient microscopy while inheriting the highly reliable optical performance of the TS100. Nikon's newly developed contrast boservation method "Emboss Contrast" is easy to operate and makes cell observation more efficient enhancing use for basic research in medical and biological fields.
