The MBD266 system is an all-solid-state, diode-pumped, continuous-wave, single-frequency, deep-UV source at 266nm. Stable, low-noise operation results from efficient frequency doubling of the 532nm, single-longitudinal mode output from the Verdi laser.

Verdi is powered by laser diode arrays which have aluminium-free active areas. The laser diode arrays are located conveniently inside the power supply, allowing easy exchange without disturbing the laser head.
