Opotek Phocus Tunable Laser System

Based on the ring-caviy optical parametric oscialltor (OPO) technology, the Phocus series represents the otpimal light source for photoacoustic imaging applications that require high pulse energies and NIR wavelengths for deep penetration of biological tissue. A customisable, safety-intrelocked fibre bundle delivers light from the system to the instrumentation and prevents system operation without fibre attachment.

Two versions are availbale. The Phocus BENCHTOP is ideal for the scientific laboratory where it shines as a multi-use instrument as a Photoacoustic Imaging light source. The pump laser, electronics, and optics are fully intergrated onto the same optical bench. The Phocus MOBILE is a full-featured, vibration isolated, fully integrated tunable laser system. The heavy duty shock absorbing casters and fully integrated single cabinet design make the Phocus MOBILE ideal for re-positioning the sytem in a clinical/hospital environemnt. The system is light sealed and delivers tunable wavelength via interlocked fibre bundles.
